Hello,
Here is the concrete request from Barkan settlement in Shomron (Samaria) published in several papers here in States including several Russian language ones.
I happened to stay there three years ago for about 10 days. Located on hill it has breathtaking views on Samarian mountains, cleanest air, nice weather ... and yes, thousands of bloodthirsty jealous bastards around. The main point also is it overlooks several arab villages and huge valley so has an important strategic value. Over 300 families and over 60 among them are from USSR. Lots of old-timers. Lots of Americans and Canadians.
Thou relatively safe, just few break-ins here and shootings there, these pioneering folks are getting ready for what yet to come.
There is 'First reaction unit' as in all Jewish places in the wild. It consist of 13 people. I spoke to my comrade Boris this weekend, they need to have at least 20 folks in this squad. As usual, they don't have enough or any of bulletproof jackets, night vision devices, ammunition, binoculars, etc.
They need monies for training as well. More or less $30,000.
So please open your wallets and donate generously.
