Neither choice is very good. If you go to the interview and he is not there the petition will be denied and you will be told to leave the US. If you do not go to the interview the petition will either be denied because you did not appear or it will be rescheduled one time (depending on the INS office). You can write the INS (on the interview notice form you were sent) and ask for a continuance if you are unavailable to appear there on that date, and this may give you an extra 2 to 3 months. But nothing will solve your problam unless you are a battered or abused spouse. Good Luck, ALLAN SAMSON
