political asylum granted

I was granted political asylum and I want now to get my children here. My question: How long it takes for INS to complete the paperwork after I have filed and is there a law specifying the period within which they must go to USA after the interview at the consulate?

You are given up to two years after you have been granted asylum to apply for your family. Processing takes about 8-10 months. Good Luck, ALLAN SAMSON

Thank you very much but how long does it take after the processing. And is there a deadline within which my family has to leave the country after they get approval from the U.S. consulate?

The processing will take up to one year. Soory, but I do not know how long your family has to leave Russia after their interview. They should ask at the American Consulate so you can plan strategy.
