Hi,
I am on my H1-B. Last year I spent 14 months in Russia (in the Russian division of our company). I earned part of my money there. I have also been taxed on that amount in Russia, since I am a Russian citizen. I have the proof documents. The cumulative amount of my earnings is what was determined for INS petition (prevailing market wage). May I have problems with INS because I have not earned the whole amount in the US?? I will have included the earnings on my income tax form. (Our company is a Russian-American business, it has divisions in several countries, including Russia). Will this impact if I renew my H1-B in two years??
