I am married to US citizen and applied for adjustment of status to INS
The question is: will it be a problem if I worked without Employmentt Authorization for 5months - since October 2001 and got EAD just now, in February 2002? Organization I worked in sent forms to IRS with my salary and taxes information for the year 2001.

It will not be a problem. So lomg as you are married to a US citizen the fact that you worked without authorization will not prevent you from getting a green card. You may be asked questions about it at the interview. Always tell the truth. It will not stop you from getting your green card. Good Luck, ALLAN SAMSON
