I heard that after September, 11 events a new law was issued, which states that if a person came to the US on F1 visa, received a green card, but not a citizen of the US will divorce her/his spouse she/he dows not have right to any kind of alimonie and the community property law is not in forse in such situation. Please, tell more about these new law, and the rights of a person, who was married more than three years, but still has a two year (conditional) green card.

Nothing has changed after 9-11.. The terms of divorce, alimony, support, etc. will depend on what State you are in. Immigration rulkes still require the filing of Form I-751 -- whether jointly with your spouse or separately, if a divorce has been filed. Good Luck ALLAN SAMSON
