Hello!
My name is Greg.
I am a US citizen. I married a Russian Citizen and applied for her to receive permanent resident’s status.
Later I learned that the marriage was a fraud - sort of “immigration vehicle” for my ex-wife.
I got a divorce, canceled the application and informed the INS about fraudulent nature of the marriage prior of joint interview. As far as I know, my ex-wife in order to stay in US claimed the physical abuse but was rejected. Her attorney is appealing this INS decision. What is her chance to stay here in US based on our marriage? Can she stay if she marry someone else or through the employment? How long her deportation would take?
