My understanding of it: we (you) need to express your opinion and write to
biased against Israel media, to government offices-in case like anti-Semitic
events such as happened in SFSU; to ask them to condemn PLO and brake ties with
Arafat,etc.)

Jake,

I understand your feelings on the matter. If you want to "Hurt" the news
outlets that push under the rug such stories, protest them. I do not watch
the Big Three new outlets. They are sided to a way of thinking I do not
believe in. Try Fox news or other outlet like Fox that try to gives a more
fair and balanced objective on the stories. By supporting this type of new
agency the Big Three type of news agencies will loose viewers and will be
forced to change their way through the biggest force that controls them,
Their pocket book!

Just my thoughts.

Let me introduce myself very briefly. I was born in the former Soviet Union and currently run the Baraban.Com portal. I have served on the boards of Jewish non-profit organizations and know many members of the LA, SF and Denver Jewish communities, both Russian-speaking and not. I do in fact spend much time in both California and Colorado, these days. I get many emails on the subjects of Israel, the Middle East and the Jews and this morning I emailed my thoughts on the subject to the 1500 or so email addresses. These addresses were all from emails that I received and kept on the Jewish subjects. I hope you and the others did not find my emailing intrusive.
