*****...Unemployed single mother living at home with her parents..Obviously has no means to support or raise little bastards...
BTW, her last name is Suleman, which is an americanized form or Suleiman. Where do you think her roots are? ;) She's a fcking camel-hoof polisher. No big fcking surprise there.

For some reason, my comp refuses to show me the article. But from Rozka's comments, I understood some lady had 8 babies at once.
Actually, a strange thing happened to me this week. I decided that I'm pregnant. All the odds and common sense were against it. But the thing is, no birthcontrol gives you 100% pregnancy-free guarantee. So, I felt sick and decided this thing happened to me again because otherwise I would never feel sick. I peeed on a test - it showed me I'm not pregnant. But I didn't believe it ('cause it's only 99% accurate) and went to doctor. The doctor couldn't find any baby in me either. But I didn't believe to doctor either because I just don't trust anyone. So, I went to a lab and gave them some blood to make sure I'm 100% not pregnant. But I still feel pregnant.
I guess I do need a job or a new baby.

Тяжело судить о Пастернаке, по заметкам людей которые его не читали но осуждают.
Там не просто про многодетную мать. Там про суррогатную многодетную мать, которая их за деньги производит. ;)

The woman of Arab decent is single, unemployed and living with her mother. She already had 6 kids - all in vitro, but wanted more... So now, after having 6 embryos implemented at the same time, some of which divided, she has 8 more kids. She does not get paid to do it, but I am guessing that the state of California pays to take care of all of them...

Does the article say the lady is poor? Maybe she, her mother and all the kids have old family money and don't even qualify for the state aid?
Making kids just to get little support money from government seems a strange choice.
Maybe she had religious motives to make as many babies as possible? :puzzled:

I tried to watch the discussion of this story on TV, but still didn't get it, it seems crazy. TV commentators were pretty mean to that unusual mother.
And they say she wants to do the reality show about her family's life and make her babies earn their living that way.
I've noticed that jewish people always pay close attention to anyone's nationality and consider it an important factor. why?

I just read the article. It doesn't say a word about her selling embryos for money. It sounds like she is a somewhat psychological unbalanced woman (my personal intepretation) who wants to have chldren to provide her with meaning of life and to help her cope with emotional pain. I think it was irresponsible on the part of the physician to go ahead with so many embryos without even checking into her financial AND psychological state.
She says that she would get financial support from family and the church (the latter btw suggests that she is not Muslim - although for the love of god I don't see how her descent would have anything to do with her emotional difficulties).

It speaks to her state of mind...
what state of mind would that be? all "women of Arab decent" are inclined to some sort of craziness? ;) hehehehe i don't think they are any different from any other nationality.
as for that particular lady, i think doctors should be limited by some law to a certain number of kids they can help to "produce" unless presented a prove of financial support to raise them.

Actually, I would go further and suggest that it's a Russian "descent" that spells troubles in terms of predilection for craziness:):)

I was joking about the state of mind - just playing along the theme that was brought up earlier. (A friend told me that she was of Christian Arab decent.)
Apparently there are guidelines, that this particular doctor chose to ignore.

she could do whatever she pleased to do in her bedroom, that would be her private life. but how is it private if she went to hospital to insiminate herself? if doctors cannot control number of kids they "help to produce" they should not use that exact method.

It doesn't sound like a very healthy scenario for her in any case... yet, I thought it was explicitly stated in the article that she is NOT on social assistance.

Suleman said she had never been on welfare and would find a way to get by with the help of family, friends and her church. She said she planned to return to school in the fall.
