Мне нужно отправить несколько коробок в Москву. Как лучше это сделать? Стоит связываться с русскими компаниями которые по дешевле или всё таки лучше потратить лишние деньги и послать UPS (but without the headaches)?

it depends on how quickly you need it there.
Lots of companies will send you stuff by ocean so it will take a while.
Check with usps for their prices.
Also, my husband owns a transportation company, they deal with air freight. PM me if you need pricing information for sending your stuff by air (will be there in a couple of days).
