Great place, but very, very cold winters and very very hot & humid summers. Nothing in between. I lived there for 4 years. Plan to visit my friends next month, I hope.

Mid West).

Si-pasibo a lot.
Do you know, by chance,
mestechko - Burnsville, south of Minneopolis?
I will be there this weekends.
Any historical or fun places do you recomend to see there?

There is really nothing special about Burnsville - just a suburb. In Bloomington, which is not far away (take I-35W north to 494 east), there is the largest indoor "Mall of America". It even has a rollercoaster inside.
In Minneapolis, the Guthrie Theater across Hennepin Ave from the Loring Park (this park is a major gay hangout) is amazing - check it out before it moves from its historic location this summer. In front of the theater there is a very nice garden with with many modern art sculptures, including the very well known giant spoon with a cherry. Uptown area is great to grab a bite to eat - more great authentic ethnic food choices than any other area. My personal favorite was the Lotus Garden. The lakes are pretty cool, too. Take a stroll around lake Calhoun, if you get a chance.
There is nothing much in St. Paul - just an overgrown farm town w/ University of Minnesota farming campus as it's focal point and a rather clean downtown. St. Paul is across the river from Minneapolis.
