On Friday, February 10, 2005, a Tibetan Healer, Reiki Master Ardi
Galash, 50 years old, also known as Vasiliy Galashev was arrested in
the City of Poway for sexual misconduct with some of his former
patients. Mr. Galash is currently in custody at the San Diego
County Jail with a bail of $995,000.00.
Over the past three years, former patients of Galash have come
forward with information alleging that while they were being treated
for assorted medical problems, they were sexually assaulted. Mr.
Galash has been in the United States since 1999 and has worked in
several different locations. Some of the known locations include
Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego.
Mr. Galash has worked out of several homes in the San Diego Area,
including his own. He has also worked out of a doctor's office
in Los Angeles.
Over the past few years, Mr. Galash has advertised in several
Russian newspapers as a seventh generation Tibetan healer, Reiki
Master with a "powerful, precise system of healing which
originated in Tibet thousands of years ago".
The Sheriff's Department is asking anyone who may have
information about other illegal sexual acts by Mr. Galash to call
Detective William Jehl, at the Poway Sheriff's Station,
